The Scholastic Book Fair will be back at GMS May 8th-11th. Students will have access to the fair throughout the day.

Registration for the 2023 Falcon 5K has officially started!

The Graham Falcon 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, May 27th. There is also an elementary 1-mile fun run. Everyone who signs up by Friday, May 12th will guarantee an event t-shirt with registration. We also have medals for top 5 in each category. There are also registration forms in all GLS building offices and various businesses around town. We hope you can join us for this event to help fund student organizations and PBIS initiatives at GMS!

The Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:00pm. Students are asked to be in the gym by 6:45pm. Students are also asked to dress nice as they are being celebrated in front of parents and community.

** Students received an RSVP with more information this week during school.

Mrs. Erter will be going into Social Studies classes in the next week to meet with current grade 6 and 7 students to start their scheduling process. Scheduling forms will need to be signed and returned to school by May 15th.

Graham Middle School FLIGHT summer camp registration is officially open! This camp provides students with engaging enrichment activities including STEAM curriculum, recreational activities, character education, and community service activities, as well as numerous field trip opportunities.

Camp sessions :

June 5-29 Monday-Thursday(virtual Fridays)

July 10-27 Monday-Thursday (virtual Fridays)

9am-3pm

Open to any Graham student who will be in 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in the 2023-2024 school year.

Graham Local Schools does provide transportation for each enrolled student.

An additional school fees PRC Plan has been approved by the state. The Champaign County Department of Job & Family Services can help cover up to $500 per child if families are income eligible and complete a PRC application. Attached is the letter JFS has composed, and a social media infographic. Please contact them directly with questions. We do have access to the PRC Application in our GMS office as well that we are happy to send home.

Reminder: Information for incoming grade 7 students:

Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after 14 days, per Ohio Revised Code.
If your doctor says immunization might be harmful to your student, a waiver must be on file. If you object to immunization for good cause, for example religious convictions, a waiver must be on file.
