Room 23
Students using their student " Wonders" booklets are working on reading the story in pairs and looking for clues to develop the theme of the Story in “Little Flap Learns to Fly”
The theme was friends helping each other learn new things. It also connects to the essential question, "How do friends depend on each other?"
During blended learning Mr. Badger helps room 23 review money using the interactive computer boards.

Dighton Elementary School Halloween Parade
Get ready for a spooktacular event!
Our upcoming Halloween Parade is set to kick off at 1:45 pm on October 31, 2023 taking place outdoors in our field for Grades PK through Grade 4. Parents are invited to watch the parade from behind the caution tape, ensuring everyone's safety. Please be mindful of the areas with no parking on the streets, and consider parking at the town hall. Remember, students must come in appropriate costumes that are safe for walking; scary costumes or face-covering masks are not allowed. Fast approaching is our PTO Sponsored DES Trunk or Treat!
We are still looking for a few more trunks to participate! The trunk itself does not need to be manned during the Trunk or Treat! If you would like to participate in walking around with your children, you may do that and still have a Trunk! As a reminder, this is not a drop off event and students will need to have a chaperon on site during the event.

Can't make it to the Trunk or Treat but would still like to participate? The DES Candy Monster is hungry and waiting to be fed some candy/goodie donations! Located near the DES Office!
