Succesful workshops Judit Pocs, Andrea Noeske-Porada

The participants have had fantastic workshops teached by Judit Pocs. They could learn how to make Jewelry, a basic Hat and Sculptures from 11-16 Oktober 2013. De golden hands of Judit have showed how the fine fibers get strong felt. Every form was possible, there were no boundries.

Andrea Noeske-Porada has teached at atelier Fiberfusing from 17-18 oktober 2013. She showed the students a new way of folding en felting, to get a 3d sculpture. The system is inspired by Escher and Doris Schattschneider.

ArtWear Jordaan / meet and greet

It is my wish to get in contact with the visitors of ArtWear Jordaan, where some of my feltworks are for sale. That's why I will be in the shop in November and December on the mondayafternoon from 13.00-16.30. A visit to the shop combines perfectly with a walk over the Noordermarkt on mondaymorning. De Noordermarkt is known by their stalls with fabrics and all kind of textile accescoiries. It closes at 13.00hr.

Just come to the shop to say hello and have a chat. ArtWear Jordaan, Brouwersgracht 145 in Amsterdams is only 5 minutes walking away from the market. See you!

Portraying Leafs'Nature - Elena Ulyanova

As a surprise Elena Ulyanova from the Ukraine will visit the Netherlands to teach in atelier Fiberfusing and at Charity van der Meer. She will teach a workshop in 'contact'printings with leaves. She has developed her own methods. Read more here https://www.smore.com/vpyh
