Dear DRRHS Falcon Community:
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to the high school next week. On Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30, there will be an important public meeting held in the auditorium. The topic will be the 2023-2-24 budget. All are encouraged to attend. The spring musical, Head Over Heels, will be held in the auditorium on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We hope you are able to catch a show! Please also note that MCAS ELA will be administered to sophomores on March 28th and 29th. Teachers have been preparing their students for success, and we will hold an informational session for all sophomores on Monday morning. Until then, stay safe this holiday weekend.

HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT
We are pleased to partner with the District Attorney's Office and the Dighton Police Department to offer the Hidden in Plain Sight presentations at DRRHS on Thursday, March 30. These short presentations will take place every 20 minutes between 6pm and 8pm. Middle School and High School families are encouraged to attend. Please park and enter at the Superintendent's Entrance near the tennis courts for the most direct access to the auditorium. No appointments or sign-ups are required.

MEDIA STUDIES STUDENTS CREATE CAMPAIGN WITH REHOBOTH FIRE DEPT!
MEDIA STUDIES
The CTE Media Studies Program’s Junior and Senior Students planned and created a Social Media Campaign for the Rehoboth Fire Department. RFD reached out to assist in the ongoing recruitment effort to advertise for Rehoboth residents to become firefighters. The Media Studies Crew provided the “Seasons of Fire” which included specific target designs for each of the four seasons and a video. This was a great opportunity to learn about advertising & design campaigns and produce a real product for our community. Keep an eye out on RFD’s social media platforms for our work! MCAS EXAMS
MCAS EXAMS AND GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
- Students in the Classes of 2025-2026 must pass MCAS ELA, Math, and Biology to graduate with a high school diploma.
- Students in the Class of 2025 will take the ELA MCAS assessments on March 28th and 29th. The Math exams are scheduled for May 16th and 17th. We will be holding an assembly for sophomores next week to review MCAS expectations. In the meantime, please encourage your child to begin reviewing the MCAS practice tests.

- Students in the Class of 2026 will take the MCAS Biology assessment on June 6th and 7th.

FamilyID.com will be opened up for Spring Sports registrations on Wednesday, March 1st and close at midnight Friday, March 31st. User fee payments will be due by Friday, April 14th. If there is a financial hardship, please contact Mr. Kelley. All athletes MUST have an up-to-date physical on file with the nurse prior to participating in a Spring Sport.
