The Microscope

A Dutch man named Anton van Leeuwenhoek a scientist and draper. Also known as the one of the pioneers of microscopy and in the late 17th century became the first man to create and use a real microscope.

Although Anton was given credit for inventing the microscope it was actually two different dutch men Zacharias Jansen and his father Hans began to experiment with different sized lenses. They put several lenses inside a tube and made an important discovery.an object that was by the end of the tube looked much larger than before.

The microscope originated in 1590

An object that uses different types of lenses to enhance and image or object.

Microscopes have greatly changed sense they were first invented due to us always improving to make them better. Now we have microscopes that can project down to the size of atoms.
