Math Courses
There is still room in several of our math education courses in spring 2023. Do you know of any colleagues who would be interested in taking a course as a non-degree seeking student? If so, please share this information with them:
This spring Hood College will be offering several graduate courses in mathematics education:
- MATH 501: Explorations in Geometry on Monday evenings
- MATH 507: Introduction to Graph Theory on Wednesday evenings
- EDUC 547: Geometry and Measurement in Elementary and Middle School on Thursday evenings
- EDUC 596: Teaching of Mathematical Modeling fully asynchronously
All are fully online.
Course descriptions can be found here: Self-Service - Section (hood.edu)
Tuition information can be found here: Tuition & Fees | Hood College.
Each course is 3 credits so 3 x $500 + $135 fee = $1635.
We have direct tuition payment programs with several local school systems.
To register as a non-degree seeking student, complete this form: Non-Degree Graduate Application and Registration form | Hood College

Our Meadow Hall PTA is excited to once again host an Ice Skating Party on Wednesday, January 25th from 4:30-6:15 pm at the indoor Rockville Ice Arena.
Flyers with all the details went in your mailboxes last night. For those of you with students, if you could help to share this information through ClassDojo as well we would appreciate it.
