Students will work with a partner to create their own snow globe poem entitled If I lived in a Snow Globe. They will also have the opportunity to create a visual for their poem and put it inside their own snow globe using the iDoodleGlobe app.

Santa's Sled Challenge

After Reading Twas the Night before Christmas, students will work in groups to build a sled for Santa from popsicle sticks and glue. Students will go through the scientific method, test their sleds and take time to reflect on the process.

The week of December 15-19 will be a little different in the library this year. We will not be following the traditional library schedule but we will be hosting a Winter Wonderland of Library Activities!

You can now register and promote the Six Flags Read to Succeed program with your kids. If you kids read 6 hours and record their minutes on the Six Flags reading log. You will need to create a teacher account and enter your students into the system as they finish their reading.
