While many of us have lived through the rare Texas winter weather events like the ice storm six years ago, few of us, if any, have ever experienced the prolonged and sub-zero temperatures that accompanied this latest winter storm.

We could not have gotten back to school on Monday without the tireless efforts of many departments at Prosper ISD most especially our maintenance and operations who literally worked around the clock throughout the week taking care of the buildings before, during, and after the event. These heroes were able to restore our campuses so that our students and staff could return to some sense of normalcy after yet another historic event.

If you or your family suffered loss as a result of these storms, there are avenues for help. Both Collin and Denton counties have been declared National Disaster areas. Please see below for some contact information for state and national assistance as a result of these storms.

A Mandatory parent meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 17th @ 6pm (Reynolds Cafe).

Tryout Clinic Days will be held on Monday, March 29th, Tuesday, March 30th & Wednesday, March 31st from 3:30-5:30pm (Reynolds Gym).

Tryouts will be held on Thursday, April 1st starting at 4pm (Reynolds Gym).

Masks must be worn by all in attendance (with the exception of those in grade 3rd or below) unless eating or drinking. Children in 3rd grade and below do not have to wear masks, though we highly encourage them to do so.

There will be pre-packaged refreshment available. Photo Booths will be contactless and socially distanced on the upper level.

We would like to invite all current 5th graders interested in becoming a part of the Hays, Reynolds, Rogers, and Rushing MS Band programs to attend our upcoming "Instrument Selection Day" on Saturday, February 27th. All students wanting to participate in band in the 6th grade need to attend. Click on your school's name for more info!

Tommy and Lexie both live in Prosper and were diagnosed within 30 days of each other in 2020 with a rare cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. Over the past 8 months, Tommy and Lexie have undergone 14 rounds of intense chemotherapy, surgery and have together received 25 blood transfusions. Ewing’s Sarcoma is a cancer that begins in the bone or soft tissues. Though it makes up only 1% of all childhood cancers, Ewing’s Sarcoma is the second most commonly diagnosed bone cancer in children.
