MacMillan Coffee Morning

We are holding a MacMillan Coffee Morning at Corby Technical School on Friday 29th September with cakes available to buy from 7.30am. We would also like to invite parents/carers to join us from 2.00pm to 3.00pm where they can also purchase cakes and see the new extension.

Year 12 First Aid Training

Year 12 students have taken part in their first of four first aid training sessions run by the St John’s Ambulance. By the end of term 1, each student will have completed the course and will be awarded their First Aid training certificate.

Residential Trip

A group of Year 9,10 and 12 students will taking part in an activity weekend at the beautiful Outward Bound Trust Centre in Aberdovey, Wales. The students will be taking part in various outdoor pursuits.

  • Mr Holmes has nominated Grace 8C for her hard work and consistent efforts in History.
  • Miss Longhurst has nominated Frederico 11S for amazing work in History.
  • Mr Bidwell has nominated Bartosz 9C for a great start to the new school year in Geography.
  • Humanities have also nominated Amber and Kelci 10C for the hard work and determination they have already shown this term.
  • Mrs Ferns has nominated Darci 8S for her fantastic work in the Geometry task and for supporting others in lessons.
  • Mr Gourlay has nominated Kai and James 11S, Aaron 11C and Stephen 11T for displaying excellent ambition and commitment during their Python Programming Challenge.

  • Mrs Reynolds and the Senior Leadership team would like to thank all staff who participated in the Year 6 Open Evening, the evening was a great success.

Reminders:

  • We will hold an Open Evening for current Year 6 students on Tuesday 26th September with sessions at 5.30pm and 7.00pm. No appointments are necessary.
  • McMillan Coffee Morning will take place on Friday 29th September. All cake donations will be welcome. Please send your cake donations into school on Thursday 28th September.
