Westwood parents-

We hope you had a nice spring break week! It's hard to believe there is only one quarter left in the 2021-22 school year. We are going to finish strong with teaching and learning!

We would love to have some parents join our financial task force to talk about the funds we have left to spend this year. We will be meeting on March 31st from 3:30-4:30 if any of you would like to attend. We will meet in the back of the library.

We are so excited to have programs coming this spring! In the past, Westwood did not have performances by each grade level, so this will be something new and different for us. Our music teacher, Mr. Stewart, has been working hard to get performances ready since we found out the buildings could be opened back up from COVID. The dates for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th are below in the upcoming dates section; all performances will be in our cafeteria at 6:00. Parents/families are welcome to attend, and there is a new parking lot in the back of the school by Walker Ave. for additional parking. If the weather is nice, we do encourage you to walk as parking is still a challenge even with the new lot. Kindergarten and 5th grades will have their performances at their end of year celebrations- date/time information coming soon!

May 27- last day of school

Drama Club- Tuesdays (K-2) and Thursdays (3-5) at 7:30

Running Club- Mondays and Wednesdays until 3:30

Choir- Tuesdays until 3:45

Ukelele Club- Thursdays until 3:30

We are opening the doors at 7:20 this year- this means no students should be on the front porch before 7:20. There is no adult supervision before 7:20.
