Make valentines for seniors anyway! It's an easy way to make someone smile!

If you have a 6th or 7th grader interested in trying out for cheerleader next year, sign up in the office with Mrs. Voss. Sign up before Tuesday, February 1st.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, February 15h at 6:30 in the cafeteria. What an exciting time!

GISD students can see a medical provider in the school nurse's office via video chat and receive treatment for strep throat, flu, COVID-19, conjunctivitis, upset stomach, headache, and many other common ailments. This week the girls hosted Sabine and the boys visited Sabine.

Next week the girls will travel to Daingerfield and the boys will host them. Home games start at 5pm. Bring your spirit and come out and cheer our boys on their last game of the season!

We are beginning the 5th week of working towards AR goals.

We are also completing our Unit 4 on argumentative texts.

Our next unit will be a recap of all genres.

GHS Career Technical Education will be visiting GMS to speak to 8th graders about high school on Tuesday, February 8th. This is a great opportunity to learn about what GHS has to offer for our students.

Kona Ice will be here Wednesday, February 9th. Students will not be allowed to leave class to borrow the phone to ask for money. Thank you for understanding.
