Principal's Newsletter #5

We are reaching the end of the fall semester at Bonham Middle School. Looking back at our time this year, we have enjoyed many experiences that have positively impacted students and faculty this semester. From athletic events to fine arts concerts to food drives to pep rallies, Bonham has rocked this year.

December will be a quick and jam-packed month. We will have time for every fine arts to perform a winter concert, we are in the middle of an exciting basketball season and we are doing our annual hallway decorating contest. Lastly, we will be taking an interim STAAR benchmark to gauge how to attack academic growth in the spring semester. All students will take a math and ELAR STAAR interim assessment on December 5th and 6th, respectively. It is important for our students to do their best, so that we can have true data to be able to help them achieve grade level success.

I hope everyone has a wonderful winter break. We are looking forward to finishing the year strong and having a great year in 2024!
