Honoring the Class of 2023
MVLA Community,
On behalf of the District and our Board of Trustees, I want to congratulate the Class of 2023 and all MVLA students for a job well done.
These are students who came of age in a pandemic, adapting to constant changes, and doing so with resolute resilience, curiosity, creativity, wonder, and reflection. They have taught us as much as their teachers have taught them. We believe in you, Class of 2023, we're proud of you, and we can't wait to watch how your futures unfold.
Please enjoy this special graduation issue, and join me in honoring and congratulating our next generation of leaders!
Sincerely,
Nellie Meyer
Superintendent

In addition, sophomore Bridget Liu was recognized with a Silver Medal for her essay titled "Dumplings" which is about food, family and body dysmorphia.
