Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
Welcome back, BHS families! We know that transitioning back to a regular routine, although definitely needed, can be tiring for some students. We had a lot of sleepy high school students Tuesday morning but by Thursday, they were wide awake and ready to go!
We wanted to send a quick little reminder that the quarter ends on Friday, January 12th, so encourage your students to wrap up any missing work next week.
Be sure to review our important dates section as the second semester will move rather quickly! There’s a lot that happens in a school setting during the second half of the year, so help your students stay focused and organized.
We have a very important event scheduled for February 7th! Be sure to click on the link in the “take note” section, or note the flyer posted within this newsletter, to learn a little about our transition fair. February 7th is also our final parent/teacher conference event for the 2023-2024 school year. You may want to check in with your student’s teachers and swing by the transition fair!
Have a safe weekend, and let us know if there’s anything we can do for your student.
In service to our Bulldogs.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING
- BHS February 7, 2024 Transition Fair
- Parent Resource Series Information
- Parents must drop off students in the drop off line. We are now blocking the crosswalk between the sidewalk and the front of our building as we are concerned about our students' safety. When cars cut through the area between the sidewalk and the front of the building after we've cleared students through the main crosswalk on Bulldog Way, our students are put into a very dangerous situation. Thank you for following the drop off expectations that were communicated in the September 1, 2023 edition of The BHS Express.
