February 27th: ADHD and the Middle School Years

Please join Diane Berry to learn more about how we can understand, support, and confidently guide our middle school students with ADHD.

From a young age, kids with attention deficit disorder (ADHD or ADD) struggle with self-regulation, organization, and emotional management. When you add the challenges of puberty, rapid brain development, and tween angst - including hormones, lagging communications skills, and heightened attention to peers - parents can experience some especially turbulent and yes, frustrating parenting adventures.

March 20th: Peer Relations and Friendships

April 24th: Transition to High School

May 22nd: Teen Drug and Alcohol Use

Do you have an AMS Volleyball, Football, Cross Country, or Basketball uniform to return? We have quite a few students that have not yet returned their uniforms. Please take a look around the house and perhaps check your child's backpack to see if they have returned their uniforms. Uniform replacement fees are between $45- $90.00 depending on the sport.

Register today for 7th and 8th grade springtime recreational baseball teams, coordinated by Ashland Youth Baseball. Only $220 per player; scholarships are available. The season runs from March through late May. Games are against other Rogue Valley teams, typically 2-3 games per week. Visit ashlandyouthbaseball.com to sign up. Register by Feb. 10!

Ashland Little League is excited to announce that registration is now open for Spring 2023 baseball and softball. Register early and spread the word to your friends. The more participants they have, the more fun it will be. Below are the programs being offered:

Here is your chance to play softball for the Ashland Rumble 10U, 12U, & 14U softball teams. The Ashland Rumble works in conjunction with Ashland High School to provide a competitive platform for players looking to advance their skills. Practices begin in late February with teams playing 20-30 local games and 3 tournaments at Lithia Driveway Fields, in Medford as well as 1-2 away tournaments for the 12U and 14U teams. The organization is dedicated to serving the Ashland community and operates under the watchful eye of Jen Mendenhall, the Ashland High School coach. Interested players born in 2008 or later should contact our coordinator for player development, Tanya Blakeley no later than February 12th.
