Composition TGA: Composition Unit 1 Writing a Memoir is assigned in USA Test Prep. This is something you will want to complete next week. Please just answer the question the best you can. This does not need to be long, just a few sentences.
Literature assignments on the Daily Plan
Literature assignments on your daily plan will work differently than other subjects. The Literature assignments will have 1 unit open at a time., You need to work on the unit during the time in which it is open (Dates will always be listed on the Newsletter below).
Once you complete the open unit, it will list your Literature assignment You Need To Make A Choice unit. please DO NOT do this unit. We will do our Novel Units later in the year. For literature, we will continue to work through. If you complete the open unit you need to do the TGAs and attend class, but will not have any other Literature OLS assignments.

We will talk about class expectations and then have some fun using the tools in Blackboard and getting to know each other. You will need to have a notebook and pencil for your math class connects, but we will talk about that during class as well. You will begin working in the OLS (On-Line School). 5th Grade Science with Mr. McIntosh
A great big WELCOME to our new TOPS students! I am so happy to have you 5th graders in Science, and I just want to give you some idea of what next week will look like for us. We started the year by looking at the scientific method and what that means as we are doing science all year long. This week you won’t need anything except your working headset, a science journal/notebook, pencil, and your imagination. Please be aware that your daily and weekly plan may not be accurate right now. Use the schedule listed below instead.
You will have some OLS assessments that go with next week’s lessons, and we will discuss what those assessments will look like as well as how we will use USATestPrep. You will also have a Course Prep Plan that will help you understand what was covered during the first two weeks of school. DON’T WORRY, we’re going to make sure that you can understand what we have been studying and where we are going from here. Remember that you can always reach out to me with any questions that you may have about science or anything else. See you in class!
