SHES Weekly Update

We had a wonderful week of Parent Teacher Conferences at SHES. It was fulfilling to see our families together, face to face, meeting with teachers. Conferences were well attended and we thank all of the families that joined us this week. If you could not make a conference time, please email your child’s teachers with any questions or concerns.

I hope that you took time this past week to be with family and friends, to reset, and relax. We have some exciting events planned for December and we look forward to our students returning to campus full of wonder and excitement!

We are bringing back another SHES tradition, the Giving Tree. Let's all come together as a campus and help out our families in need. There is a Christmas Tree outside of the front office. Come grab an ornament from the tree, purchase the gift indicated on the ornament specifically chosen based on need and drop it off to the front office with the ornament that was picked up and unwrapped by December 15.

Our SHES Winter Apparel sales will be available from 11/29 - 12/10. Please look for flyers in your child's backpack.

Attention parents! Please make sure to communicate with the front office regarding any changes in personal information, contact numbers and/or addresses. It is important that the office has all of the most current information in case of emergency. COVID testing will be held at Shadow Hills Elementary School once a week on Wednesday's in the bus parking loop from 7:30am - 12:30pm. Testing is open to staff, students, and the community. Please pre-register at https://www.covxlabs.com/prereg-form.

We are excited to invite parents to our next Lunch on the Lawn. Please join your students on Friday, December 10th if you would like to have lunch with them. Please see the flyer for specific lunch times. We look forward to seeing families in the quad enjoying time together!

JMMS will be starting a PTA and is actively looking for members. Please see the flyer.
