On Monday we began our day by reading for 2022 seconds to celebrate the New Year!

On Tuesday we introduced our new them of the month, Optimism! The students pictured below received certificates of excellence for all their hard work and achievements!

This month's theme at the Hatherly School is optimism and positive self talk. The whole school read aloud, recognition at the end of the day and lessons throughout the month will help students to understand these important pieces of a healthy mindset. Please have a conversation with your student about optimism so they can show off their new knowledge.
