We are so glad you're here and we cannot wait to welcome you into our classrooms on the first day of school (Tuesday Sept. 8)! Here you will find a few important reminders for our first week of school. Please be sure to read through all of them so you do not miss out on important information!

• We will begin classes on Tuesday at 8am! We realize this may be early for some. Please encourage your child to begin a morning routine to get ready for their day which includes finding a quiet spot for online learning (desk, or table rather than a bed or couch, away from loud noises and siblings) and getting dressed and ready for the day!
• Your teacher will send their zoom link in an email however, the BEST place to access your child’s class is on their BLEND homepage. Please practice logging into the AISD Portal and choosing the BLEND tile in preparation for the first day of school.
  
• The first few days we will be primarily synchronous with our classes through zoom. Our focus will be on SEL, building our classroom community and learning to navigate our virtual learning space. Be prepared to take breaks and for some tired kiddos these first few days as we adjust to the routine of virtual learning. Remember to have snacks and water nearby!
  
• Please update your child's name in zoom to reflect their first name.
• We will hold daily office hours (excluding Wednesdays) for students and parents. We will use the waiting room feature to let parents and students enter in the order that they arrive. These office hours are not for individual instructional time, or questions about your child's progress, but are to help parents and students with troubleshooting issues and Q/A.
• Logging into portal: You will need your child's student number and password for the portal. See directions below if you do not have your login information.
• Please watch this video which shows you multiple ways to login to your PORTAL.
