A Note from Mrs. Cook
We have had a wonderful start to the school year and looking forward to continuing an outstanding year of teaching and learning. Hopefully, you have seen that your students have made academic gains in the last 19 days of school. This is due to your students dedication and our teachers hard work. We strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all of our students. Please remember that if you have any questions or concerns that we are only a call away.
In order to strengthen our partnership between school and home, we want to ensure you are receiving communication from the school. And as a reminder our Backpack system is a one-stop place where parents can update the list of individuals allowed to pick up their child, change contact and address information, check grades and view lunch balances. Please notify the main office if you are having any issues with this system and if you are not receiving my weekly email updates. Our school website and Facebook page are also updated daily with information and links for everything to do with Paris, Paris PTA, and GCS.
Enjoy this first edition of our new "Paris Panther Page." This monthly publication will be sent to all of our families through Backpack on the first Friday of each month.
Thank you for your support!

Try for 7:30!
Ever try to get your children in to school right at 7:45 am? That's the busiest time for the car line. Please try for 7:30 am. The car line is slower at that point, your children will have time to eat breakfast at school, get to class, and get settled before school begins. You will also have a margin of time for those days if something doesn't go right! All students must be in the building by 7:45 am to be counted as present on time. Children miss out when they are not at school on time. Try for 7:30 am!
