Welcome to CBC YOUTH MINISTRY. We are a official youth ministry within Chinese Baptist Church located in Houston, Texas. Our ministry seeks to connect you to the only one who can satisfy your soul - Jesus. We believe that He holds key to never-ending joy, peace, goodness, and life and our commitment is to do everything to point you and your family towards Him.

We are a youth ministry that have served students and families for more than 60 years. We welcome every single youth from all backgrounds, struggles, successes, thoughts, and lifestyles. If you're new to Christianity or have questions, our hope is that you truly engage and talk with us about your questions, doubts, and concerns and allow us to dialogue with you about it. If you are a young Christian or maturing Christian, we invite you to commit to this youth ministry and its people in order that you continue to grow in the likeness of Jesus.

We are just one of many youth groups in this city and we recognize that you have many options to choose from. We also understand that we are by no means a perfect youth group and do not have perfect youth leaders nor perfect youth members. We are all broken and saved by grace and with more grace, we wish to grow together. So we open our doors to you to come and join and commit.

YOUTH MONTHLY VIRTUAL CALENDAR

VIRTUAL YOUTH PRAISE // Every first Sunday of the month we will gather together for a time of worship, fellowship, instruction, and encouragement. Instead of meeting with your DGs that week, we will spend time as a whole youth group on Sunday afternoon.

First official Youth Praise will start Sept. 6th

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS (DGs) // Discipleship groups are designed for each youth to grow together with other students in order to live life together and pursue Christ together. The main purpose of DGs is more for community and discipleship than it is a traditional bible study group. The bulk of our youth group's teaching will come from ACCESS and Youth Praise. Each DG is led by a DG leader who is to be their mentor and coach throughout the year. Since the majority of the youth's growth this semester will depend on weekly interactions, we expect each youth not only to attend DG meetings, but also get involved in the lives of their DG members.

Meets weekly at various times (except for the first week of the month)
Times & schedules will be sent out by each DG leader.
Each youth will be assigned their new DG by August 30

VIRTUAL ACCESS // ACCESS is our youth group's version of Sunday school and is designed to provide the youth weekly teaching of the bible, theology, and doctrine. ACCESS will provide various tracks in which a student can sign up for during the semester according to their interests and needs.

Meets weekly at 8:00-9:15pm on Friday nights

CBC YOUTH REGISTRATION

CBC Youth Ministry exist to glorify God by making disciples of all people through Gospel truths and Gospel living. We are community of believers intent on drawing people towards the goodness of the Gospel and disciple Jesus followers towards his goodness and his reign in their lives. We have assembled the best leaders, counselors, teachers, and administrators we can find in order to create a ministry that fulfills our mission.

We invite you, no matter who you are, what you've done, where you've come from, to join us in this adventure. There are many excellent youth programs that we know you can choose from and we understand that. We hope that you have read through our documents and you know who we are so that you're able to be a part of this ministry with no hesitation.
