Hillside Family Newsletter
August 2021
A message from the principal
Dear Hillside Families,
Welcome back for the 2021-2022 school year! We hope you enjoyed a restful summer spending time with family and friends. It continues to be a true privilege and honor to serve as the principal of such an exemplary and student-centered learning community.
I am sure many of you have had multiple opportunities to think about, hear about, and discuss what this school year may or may not look like. While there are still so many moving and changing parts, I am certain of this - together we will accomplish great things!
We look forward to welcoming your children back to school on Tuesday, September 7th. (Kindergarten has a different schedule attached to this newsletter.) Together we will work diligently to build each student's capacity both academically and socially.
This year we have exciting new additions. We have hired a music teacher and a PE teacher.
We encourage you to check our school webpage and your email to stay informed about events, dates, and times.
The wonderful Hillside staff and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family. We are energized and committed to making this a fantastic school year. We look forward to all of the exciting challenges and celebrations that the 2021-2022 school year will bring to us all. Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
Sincerely,
Jodi Salinas
Principal
