PACK Guardians,

Thank you to everyone who helped tell their friends about our preview night on Monday. We had a great turnout and here is a short video to show it. We had a great week at Hubbard and are enjoying seeing our students grow and be successful. Please make sure to continue scrolling so you can see what has been going on and what is coming up!

Chromebooks - Some students are trying to get creative with Chromebooks and reset them, or as they call it "power wash." Please know that this is a violation of the tech agreement for student devices.

Cheer Tryouts!

Notification of any ineligibility - Monday, February 26th

Cheer Clinic Week - March 4-8th (Mock tryouts are on Thursday and are CLOSED tryouts)

Official Tryouts - Friday, March 8th during school. Results posted to the website by 5p.m.

Tyler ISD Transfers - Is your child at Hubbard on a transfer? You MUST fill out a transfer request form even if they have previously been accepted. The transfer window opens on February 1st and this is the official Tyler ISD Transfer Request form. We will have them printed in the front office.

Feb 1- First day to apply for transfers

March 1- Last day to submit transfer request form. All transfer requests must be submitted by March 1st to be considered.

April 1- Notification of transfer approval/denial

Yearbooks! - Your student should have already had a yearbook order form come through, BUT we know middle schoolers lose things. You can order ONLINE but must use the unique Hubbard ID code of 1210324.

Sickness and Absences - Parents Reminder: As Flu season is in full force please remember TylerISD's policy on absences. To have any absence excused ALL communication including Dr. notes and phone calls must be reported to the attendance office within 3 days for the absence to be excused.

Congratulations to Kiara Hawkins, Sean Durham, and our theater students for taking first place in the district UIL One Act Play! This will help us with our district UIL rankings.

Our Tin Can Cafe students enjoyed making Mardi Gras treats for our staff this week. Mrs. Lawson taught them how to make boudain balls and gumbo!

Ms. Bell's art class made impressions by using lino cuts. If you don't know what that is, don't be ashamed. The principal didn't know what it was until this week!

Thank you to Kelly Youngblood for helping execute "Candygrams" for our students for valentine's day!

Kids love Kona no matter the weather! Did you know that they give back 20% directly to the campus? Justin Hargrove and Kona Ice are huge supporters of Hubbard and many other local schools!

It took a lot of PACK members to come together and make preview night a success but it was totally worth it! Remind your friends that the transfer window is still open and they can apply to transfer to Hubbard.

Jackie and Becky were back at it treating our teachers for Valentine's day! Are you a part of a church that doesn't support any other Tyler ISD schools? We would love to create more partnerships!

Tyler ISD surveys staff and produces our OHI (organizational health index) results each year. I am happy to report that things have skyrocketed! What does that mean? The health of Hubbard is great and teacher morale is up!
