Principal's Message

Dear Parent(s),

After a entire week of extreme cold temperature it reminds us of where we live. Having lived in the middle east for three years with summer temperatures of +50 and now in "Great White North" of -50 I'm not sure which I prefer.

In both cases you have to dress appropriately, please remind your son/daughter of proper clothing for the temperatures.

Due to our reduced numbers of students attending school this week our Panther Post is an abbreviated version. Our next Panther Post will be sent out Jan. 13th, 2023.

Learning In Action

Mpemba Effect

Science 7 students were able to experience the Mpemba effect today while celebrating both the Canadian winter and the "Heat & Temperature" unit. Everyone got dressed and went outside for a quick demo of Science in action. Mr. Willliams was the lucky teacher who threw boiling water into the air at -41. Students got to witness the immediate change of state from liquid to gas to solid. Science is COOL!!
