Don't Forget!

Wednesday, November 22nd is an Early Dismissal Day for all Washington Township Schools. LVMS Students will be dismissed at 1:35 PM on 11/22.

All Washington Township Schools will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for Thanksgiving. Schools will reopen on Monday, November 27th.

We hope that all of our students, staff, and families of a relaxing Thanksgiving and can take the opportunity to spend time with family and other loved ones.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK

END OF MP1: Marking Period #1 concluded on Nov. 7th. Grades for MP1 are now live in OnCourse as of Nov. 15th.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ANNUAL FORMS: All families were required to acknowledge the annual forms that are loaded to your OnCourse Connect Parent account. If you have not done so, please log into OnCourse Connect and follow the prompts to acknowledge the Annual Forms for your child/children. Acknowledgment was due by November 17th.

REMINDERS

LOST AND FOUND: Our Lost & Found bins, found in the LVMS front vestibule and 6th grade stairwell, are OVERFLOWING! Please check for sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. Be aware! Unclaimed items will be donated after December 22nd.

TOYS FOR TOTS 2023: LVMS is supporting the Washington Township Police Dept. in their annual "Toys for Tots" collection drive. Please drop off toys for donation the the LVMS Main Entrance, Room 20, or Room 210 from now until December 14th.

PickUp Patrol Reminders

Don't forget the following "cutoff" times when making changes to a student pick up plan! As a reminder after the times listed below, plan changes will not be accepted.

Regular School Day: PickUp Patrol cut off time is 2:00 PM

Early Dismissal School Day: PickUp Patrol cut off time is 12:30 PM

When making Plan Changes, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email, you may need to re-submit your changes!

Modern Dance Company Tryouts

The LVMS Modern Dance Company is holding tryouts!

Dates: Monday, November 27th and Tuesday November 28th from 3:30-4:45pm

Time: 3:30 - 4:45 PM

Where: LVMS - in the PAC

Additional Info: Come prepared to dance with about 16 counts of choreography. You will be taught a short combination if you don't have any choreography. Rehearsals will start the first week of December.

Student Council Cornhole Tournament and Social

The LVMS Student Council is hosting a social event for 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders featuring a Cornhole Tournament and other games. The social will be held after school from 3:30 - 4:35 PM. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods starting next week. Games, drinks, and snacks will be provided, as well as Cornhole and other games for spectators. All money raise will support the Rescue Dogs Rock.

6th Grade Social

Date: Tuesday, November 28th

Time: 3:30 - 4:45 PM

Cost: $5 per person

Tickets: Sold during lunch periods 11/20 - 11/27

7th & 8th Grade Social

Date: Wednesday, November 29th

Time: 3:30 - 4:45 PM
