Waikiki School PTO Regal Foods Fundraiser
Get ready families for our 2nd Annual Regal Foods Fundraiser. (Last year this fundraiser raised over $15k for Waikiki School).
On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 Students will receive a large White Labeled Regal Foods Fundraising Packet...
* Inside in the packet are numbered sheets of tickets for
1) Vienna Cinnamon Bread
2) Chocolate Chip Cookies
3) Four Hot Dog Manapua
4) Giant Portuguese Sausage
Each ticket is to be sold for $8.50. PLEASE only turn in CASH for this fundraiser.
You will also find a medium sized envelope labeled with your child's name, classroom # and ticket numbers. When you are ready to submit your funds raised and any UNSOLD tickets, please use this medium sized pre-labeled envelope. You can turn it into your child's classroom teacher or bring it to the front office.
ALL Funds raised and any unsold tickets MUST be turned in by Feb. 21, 2024. ***Please note that each student has ticket #s associated with them, so we MUST receive any unsold tickets. We will contact families directly if we do not receive unsold tickets by Feb. 21, 2024.
Pick-Up for Items will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9am - 12pm. There will be NO MAKE UP TIMES. Any items NOT picked up during the pick-up window will be donated. Pick-Up will be at Waikiki Elementary School in the front parking lot. ***Individuals picking up items MUST have their tickets present to pick-up items.
If you wish to request more tickets for any or all items, please email VP Mahoney at whitneymahoney@waikikischool.org to put in a request.
If you completed the opt-out form, your child(ren) will NOT receive a Regal Foods Fundraising Envelope.
If you completed the opt-out form, but wished to make a straight donation to the Waikiki School PTO, your child will receive a straight donation letter on Feb. 1, 2024. IF you still wish to make a donation, please complete the form and submit your donation on or before Feb. 21, 2024.

- Wednesday's Drop in Volunteer at the Farm - CANCELLED
- Friday Farmstand - Every Friday during school days (no holidays/days off) 2:15pm-3:15pm, on the sidewalk between the cafeteria and the office

TalkingPoints App
We are excited to introduce TalkingPoints, a user-friendly and secure platform that enables families to communicate with their child’s teachers in their preferred language.
Thanks to the recent purchase of TalkingPoints licenses by the Hawaii Department of Education, Waikiki School teachers now have the option to utilize this innovative platform for seamless communication about your child’s education and progress. Although the adoption of this platform by our staff is currently optional, families should be aware that they may soon receive text messages from Waikiki School teachers in languages other than English.
Leveraging cutting-edge translation technology, TalkingPoints will automatically translate teacher messages into the home language specified in our student information system. For those classrooms opting to use TalkingPoints, parents will also have the convenient ability to send messages in their home language, which will be effortlessly translated into English.
We believe that effective communication is a key component of your child’s educational journey, and TalkingPoints aims to bridge language barriers, ensuring that all parents can actively participate in their child’s academic experience.
