Help Stop AAPI Harassment - Join Us TODAY at 5:00 p.m. for Bystander Intervention Training!
As we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month we once again reaffirm Glendale Unified School District’s commitment to standing with our AAPI community against hate and providing a safe learning environment where every child can learn and thrive.
We are partnering with Asian Americans Advancing Justice Los Angeles and Right to Be to provide a special Bystander Intervention training. All students, employees, families, and community members are encouraged to attend.
Congratulations to 2022 Teacher of the Year Mathew Schick!
We are thrilled to announce that this year's Teacher of the Year Award goes to Crescenta Valley High School Instrumental Music Director Mr. Mathew Schick! He will represent the District at this year’s Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year competition.
Mr. Schick has helped hundreds of students develop their passion and talent for instrumental music over the years. Many of his students have shared that Mr. Schick’s class was the driving force that kept them engaged in school during distance learning. His dedication to our students and families is inspirational.
Congratulations, Mr. Schick on your much-deserved recognition!
