Mathematical Minds Shine: Celebrating Our Students' Success
In November, 85 third and fourth-grade students from our four elementary schools participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest. This national contest aims to inspire young students to challenge themselves and excel in math. Eight students received medals for being the team winner of their grade level at their school: Woodland 4th grader Clark Lisowe, Woodland 3rd grader Matthew Lanari, Sunrise 4th grader Will Hobler, Sunrise 3rd grader Marshall Olk, Westside 4th grader Chloe Grosskreutz, Westside 3rd grader Norah Leonhard, Janssen 4th grader Audrey Hoh, and Janssen 3rd grader Walter Poppens.
A special round of applause goes to Clark Lisowe of Woodland, whose exceptional skills earned him a prestigious spot on the National Honor Roll. But the celebration doesn't end there. A remarkable 41 students distinguished themselves with Honorable Mention awards, demonstrating their prowess by scoring in the top 50% of participants nationwide. This is no small feat!
We are immensely proud of every student who participated in this enriching math adventure! Visit our website now to see these bright young mathematicians and to learn more about their extraordinary accomplishments.
