Arrival

All students in kindergarten through fifth grade will need to be in their classes ready to learn by 7:45.

• We unload along the sidewalk on the entire circle of our parking lot.
• Parents can not park and walk their child to the crosswalk.
• Students may be dropped off between 7:15 and 7:44.
• Students are tardy if not in class at 7:45 am.
• Students who are tardy will need to be checked in by a parent using our online form. After submitting the form, please call the office to confirm that your child has been checked in. After confirming check in, the office staff will ensure your child gets to class.

Dismissal

• Dismissal of students begins at 3:10 pm. and at 1:50 pm on Wednesdays. All students must be picked up by 3:30 and at 2:10 on Wednesdays. If not, your child your child will need to be enrolled in after school care.
• If you do not have your car tag hanging(and kept hanging until your child loads) from your mirror, you will need to pick up your child in the office and show your ID.

Attendance

We are so excited to serve your child and family as we learn together each day. We need your child at school every day in order to ensure learning for all. Please communicate with us if your child has to miss school. It’s Arkansas state law for your child to attend school.

Monday, September 4th is Labor Day and we will not have school.

Students will begin MAP testing next week. Check the schedule below to see when your child will be testing. Please help your child be ready to test by making sure they get a good night's rest and eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school. More information about MAP assessment can be found below.

Wednesday, September 6th - 3rd, 4th, & 5th MAP Testing

Thursday, September 7th - 1st, 3rd, & 4h MAP Testing

Thursday, September 7th - Dairy Queen Spirit Night 3:00-10:00 pm

Friday, September 8th - K Kids Meeting at 7:15 in the library

Friday, September 8th - 1st & 2nd MAP Testing

Wednesday, September 13th Back to School Rally @ARVEST Ballpark 5:00-9:00 pm

Thursday, September 21st- Lunch with Grandparents (Kindergarten, 2nd, & 4th Grade)

Thursday, September 21st- PTA General Meeting via Zoom (link will be shared) at 8pm

Friday, September 22nd Lunch with Grandparents (1st, 3rd, 5th Grade)

Monday, September 25th & Tuesday, September 26th - Parent Teacher Conferences

At every age, kids need significant relationships. The significant relationships in a child's life include parents, teachers, relatives, coaches, and spiritual leaders. As a parent, you can encourage these relationships as a way to ensure that other trusted adults are surrounding your kids with the same messages and advice that you would.
