George W. Bush Presidential Library

The members of TAFE and Education and Rising all went to visit SMU as well as George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. At SMU we did a simulations of kids in a class room with avatars that had real life responses to anything you had said.

In the museum we went through multiple sections and one was the education one and that was my favorite due to the fact that he was making education a priority in the country instead of putting it on the back burner. We also went through his 911 section and it was definitely something you wanted to stay and read everything. What a life changing event especially for his presidency because he didn't want to be a war president.
