SONA Field Trip
Mrs. Arnold's 7th Grade Math Classes
Connecting with 7th grade math standards, students applied their knowledge of proportional relationships and ratios to create this colorful display of Cardioids, Nephroids, and Epicycloids. This art enhancement project also allowed for frontloading of circle vocabulary, standards that will be taught in their next unit, and encouraged teamwork, participation, and creativity. We are so proud of our 7th graders!

Parent Partnership Opportunities
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to reach out to you with an opportunity to support Arkansas Arts Academy arts programs as we continue to nurture our student's artistic talents and creative spirit. Our commitment to fostering excellence in the arts is unwavering, as a strong arts education enriches the lives of our students and contributes to their personal growth and development. This sponsorship initiative allows us to partner with parents and sponsors by providing more to our students more meaningfully.
Sponsors may contribute to the overall arts programming or choose a specific arts department to support directly.
- Overall Arts Programming: Your generous donation will support a wide range of arts disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, theater, and more. These funds will enhance our facilities, provide essential equipment and materials, and offer opportunities for students to engage with guest artists and performers.
- Arts Department Sponsorship: If you have a particular interest in a specific area of arts concentration, – such as visual arts, music, dance, theater, or any other discipline, you can donate to that area. This targeted support will enable us to develop and expand departments and provide our students with specialized training, resources, and experiences.
In appreciation of your support, we are pleased to inform you that the names of all sponsors and businesses will be prominently listed in programs for all arts events throughout the academic year. Your contribution, whether large or small, will significantly impact the quality of arts education we can provide at Arkansas Arts Academy.
When you choose to support the arts at our school at the $600 mark or above, your name or business will be prominently displayed on our "Wall of Appreciation" within the school premises as a tribute of your commitment to fostering creativity and artistic excellence among our students.
We understand that everyone's financial situation is unique, and we genuinely appreciate any support you can offer.
To participate in this sponsorship initiative, please visit our website at artsk12.org, submit your payments on mypaymentsplus, or complete the enclosed donation form and return it to the school office. Your donation is tax-deductible, and we will provide you with a receipt for your records.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support Arkansas Arts Academy as we continue to educate and encourage your children through the arts. Together, we can ensure our students continue to thrive and excel in their artistic endeavors.
With warm regards,
Amy Kessler
