MPS Waiting List

This includes students who you wish to enroll in preschool or kindergarten.

Meet Ms. Taylor

I'm Kari Jo Taylor. This is my sixth year of teaching third grade in Minnewaukan! I live in Devils Lake with my son, Easton (5). In my spare time I enjoy traveling, being outside, and working out.

Meet Mr. Every

I am Mike Every. I teach fifth grade ELA, and fourth, fifth, and sixth grade science and social studies. I am beginning my 15th year of teaching. I earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from LRSC and a Bachelors of Science degree from Mayville State University in Education. I will be finishing my last semester of MA in Administrative leadership at Minnesota State University Moorhead in the Spring of 2023. I have four adult children, six grandchildren and a new little kitten named Chase.

Counseor's Corner

May… MAY?! Nine months have come and have gone, filled with classroom lessons and so much learning! April was focused on putting all that learning to the work as students completed their state testing. In between state testing we were able to fit in Cyberbullying lessons for the upper elementary and identifying the size of the problem and size of our reactions for lower elementary. We all finished the month with apologies. May will focus on recapping all we learned over the last few months and work with different coping skills to use throughout the summer!

Student of the Month

Each grade level will be eligible to receive student of the month.

They will be recognized on the school website and FB page as well as receive a small reward for their accomplishment.

Student engagement staff will look for when nominating a student of the month:
