If you have any questions!
The 21st Century Grant is a fantastic opportunity for our school to offer extra curricular activities to our students at no cost. All activities, clubs and classes are held after school hours. After school snacks and transportation are provided. Hidden Valley High School is designated as a 21st Century Community Learning Center, and we will offer as many opportunities for academic enrichment, youth development, family events and high quality programs and operations that we can. We need student involvement and will encourage family involvement as much as possible.
If your child attends any 21st Century Activities, you will need to pick them up by 5:45 or they will be put on the Activity Bus.
It is policy that no child is left at the school after the activity busses leave if they are participating in 21st Century.

AYDEN KANNOTT DREAM ALL-AMERICAN BOWL GAME
Hidden Valley's Ayden Kanott was able to participate in the Dream All-American Bowl Game some time ago. Here is the information and photos from his game.
"My experience at the Dream All-American Bowl was amazing! I was a part of Team Stars and we won 23-21. The Cowboys Stadium was beautiful and it was an honor to be selected to play against other great players at the AT&T stadium. My number is 73 and I played Center for Team Stars."
Congratulations Ayden!!!
JANUARY STUDENT ATHLETES OF THE MONTH
Our two January Student Athletes of the Month are Jayde Klipfel and Morgan Stever.
Both are working very hard in their sport this season as well in their other extracurricular activities. Jayde is heavily involved in our amazing FFA program, while Morgan recently represented Hidden Valley as a percussionist in the 2022 Oregon All-State Symphonic Band. He was one of only six percussionists selected in the state to perform with this ensemble.
Congrats to both outstanding athletes!!

JOSEPHINE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Emergency Management is rewriting our Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan and we are looking for input from the community on what natural hazards they face locally. We would like input from all age and thought this would be a great way for students to see how they can get involved in directing the decisions we make as a county by providing their feedback. We will be building our new plan based on the results and that will help us better prepare and mitigate. I’ve attached the flyer which includes a QR code or link, but I figure most people will just scan the code since it’s easiest. Each participant will be entered into a drawing for either a $25 gift card or a $95 emergency preparedness kit.
Thanks for your consideration on this! Please forward it to anyone and everyone!
Rikki
P.S. A student from the school and her mother will be attending our next Prep-U class, which I thought was super cool!
