Special Request Re COVID Protections: While everyone is invited, I ask that those who have not been vaccinated please remain outside or on my back porch at all times, including while eating. (But never fear! You can go inside to use the bathroom, but just use a mask when you do.) We’ll all eat on the porch if the weather permits.

Beardies and their humans are invited to Lynne Corn’s house for a meeting & potluck on Saturday Nov. 20, from 1:00-3:30. If the weather is nice enough, most of the event will be outside on the porch. If not, we’ll come inside. (I’m hoping all of you are COVID vaccinated! Well, unless you are a Beardie, that is.) There will be a club meeting to discuss nominations and other business. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, Nov. 20 (Nasty weather date: Sunday, Nov. 21, 1:00)

Time: 1:00-3:30 (Club meeting at 2:30)

Where: Lynne Corn’s house, 1851 Griffith Rd, Falls Church, VA (Very near intersection of I-66 & I-495)

Who: Local beardies & their humans

1. How many people will be coming?
2. Whether you plan to bring -

• appetizer
• liquids (alcoholic or non)
• side dish,
• salad, or
• dessert?

Finally (drum roll, please!) as a special incentive for early response, if you respond before Nov. 16, you can vote on which main course I should fix:

• coq au vin
• boeuf bourguignonne
• lamb tagine (traditional Moroccan dish with lamb, dates, shallots, garlic)

In case of a tie, I'll wing it! On top of that, I would just really appreciate not being kept in suspense.
