3rd Grade Science with Mrs. Fields

Hello 3rd Grade Scientists!

Last week: We talked about Isaac Newton and how he helped put laws and names to the forces that happen around us everyday! Excellent job on the review game, by the way :-) You people are rock stars!

Learning Points to Remember: Isaac Newton discovered the idea of gravity being the reason our Earth revolves around the Sun. He also created the 3 Laws of Motion! Do you remember what they are? ;-)

Next week: We will start on Unit 11 Magnetism. Be ready to play with some magnets!

Announcement: There will be no classes Friday April 19 or Monday April 22. Enjoy your break!

Extra Credit: Some students asked if they could do the solar system project for extra credit. You are cleared for take off! If you create a model of the solar system in which the planets are in the correct order next to the sun I will add a 5 point grade as extra credit. This is an OPTIONAL activity! Email me pictures of your project or upload them into the OLS.

I will accept this project at any point throughout the remainder of the year.

I will keep the Health Activity Book attached so that you use with some of your OLS lessons.

If your grades seem lower than expected please check your TGAs. For PE please make sure you have been marking your weekly lesson complete. If you are missing a PE TGA please email me to let me know if you have been doing your daily activity each week.
