It takes every stakeholder in a school community (parents and guardians, community members, students, teachers and support staff) to operate any school. That is definitely the case for a school as large as Potomack. Thank you sincerely to everyone involved in this wonderful school for a great first week back. It is so refreshing to see so many people share the same goal which is to ensure Potomack Intermediate remains the best school in Berkeley County.

Local School Improvement Council Meeting Dates

The meeting dates for the Local School Improvement Council for the 23-24 school year are:

August 31*

October 9

January 2

February 19

March 29

*August's meeting is at 8:00am. All other meetings are held in the art room at 2:00pm.

PTO Sign Up Sheet

We are so excited to start a PTO at Potomack Intermediate. Thank you to those who signed up at orientation! Forms will come home with students on Monday, August 28. Membership costs $5 which includes all of your students at Potomack.

The first meeting is slated for September 7 at 5:30. At that meeting, elections will take place and a PTO focus will be established for the year.
