Boys Lacrosse
Coming off a great win on Friday, the boys are heading into a tough and potentially season-changing week as we face two good PAC teams in Upper Merion and Boyertown.
Player Highlights - Cole Kleger & Will Bowers
Cole is our rock on the defensive side of the field. As a junior, Cole has shown that he can not only command a defense building up any player around him but can also lead a team. Cole is one of our 4 captains, an honor he will likely retain into his senior season. Not only is Cole a great player that we lean on in tough times, but he is also a great person that any coach would be lucky to have. Thankfully we have Cole for one more season, but whichever college he chooses to extend his career to they will see how special he is.
Will is another defenseman that has come to be one of our more dependable players this season. Will is also another great person to have around. He has done many things for this program over his 4 years. Starting as a mid-fielder / attackman, Will has shifted his play to the defensive side of the ball for his senior season. Will recognized an area of weakness and unselfishly stepped up for the team which speaks volumes to who he is as a man. I wish nothing for the best in what will intends to do after graduating from Methacton.
Upcoming Events:
4/24 - Game vs. Upper Merion (HOME)
4/27 - Game vs. Boyertown (AWAY)

Boys tennis continued their 7-0 league winning streak with two more wins this past week against Upper Perk and Pottstown. The PAC also held its league singles tournament and we want to congratulate our very own sophomore Dylan Wen for winning the tournament. Dylan had a conflict with all state choir and wasn’t able to move on to the district tournament but junior Akash Suresh also qualified and went to districts on Friday but lost in the first round to a seeded player from Unionville. The boys are headed into their last official week of the season with league matches against Owen J. Roberts and Upper Merion.
