Parents and Guardians,

This week’s activities for Native American Heritage Month were a highlight of the year thus far. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from parents and other community members to help teach our students about Native American Culture. These events were a tremendous success.

I hope all of you will enjoy the week with the kids at home, stay healthy, and we will see you at school on November 27.

Family Friday on December 1

Join us for a Book and a Snack on the Lawn @ 2:15 pm on Friday, December 1. Bring a blanket and/or beach chairs, a snack, and a good book.

Lost and Found

Please take a moment to look through the Lost and Found items. There are many jackets, lunch bags, and water bottles. We will be donating unclaimed items after December 19

Attendance

Please don't forget to call the school if your child is absent. You can call and leave a voicemail at (619) 445-2977 in the evening before the absence or even early before the office opening. Thank you for supporting this critical school function.

Independent Study Contracts

If your student is going to be absent for an extended period, please make sure to request an Independent Study Contract from the office at least one week in advance. This will ensure that your child's teacher has ample time to prepare assignments, and your student can receive attendance credit during their absence.
