To encourage and inspire a love of reading among our students, we will be holding a Reading Celebration Week. See below for the various themes each day. We want this to be simple and easy and encourage families to simply use items they already have at home.

We invite all of our families to bring chairs, shade umbrellas, easy-ups, or blankets and join your child during their regularly scheduled lunch time out on the front grass. Feel free to bring your own food or your child can get a free lunch from the cafeteria. During the event, we will also have our book fair open in the library.

Here are the lunch times for each grade level along with areas to sit.

• 4th/5th: 11:00-11:40 (4th on grass closer to front office/5th on grass closer to MPR)
• 2nd/3rd: 11:40-12:20 (2nd on grass closer to front office/3rd on grass closer to MPR)
• K/1st: 12:20-1:00 (Kindergarten on grass closer to front office/1st on grass closer to MPR)
• TK: 12:30-1:10 (TK playground area)

All students will attend the book fair with their class during their regularly scheduled library time. In addition, it will be open after school each as well as during our Family Lunch Day and Family Reading Night on Friday.

We have opportunities to help with our Family Read Night as well as Fall Festival. Please click the link below to sign up to help with either of these events as well as other events that will take place this school year.

Volunteer Sign-Up Genius

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place during the week of October 2-6. Please look for an email coming from your child's teacher this Monday, September 18 at 3:00 that will contain instructions about how to sign up for a day and time to meet together.

Please note that there will be no school on October 5-6 so that teachers can use those days for conferences.

Please see the flyer below for an opportunity for your child to receive a free teeth cleaning for those who do not have dental insurance. Any student, whether they have insurance or not, can have a free check-up completed here at our school.
