Read Across America Week Success!

We had a great week celebrating reading and all the wonderful work of Dr. Seuss. There were many moments of laughter. Students explored rhythm and rhyme as well as new lessons and ideas. Green Eggs and Ham taught us to try new foods The Lorax was a lesson on taking care of our world. There were many, many more. We continue to engage our students as readers everyday!

Thank You!

The Hill Country Hunger Alliance made a generous donation to help supply additional food for students in need to take home over Spring Break!

From the PTO

At our meeting on 3/2, the PTO voted to form an independent parent organization outside of BCISD. Your voice and input is needs as the next decision is to choose to be an independent PTO or to become a PTA. The next meeting will be Thursday, March 26th at 6pm. We look forward to see you there.

April 10th: Early Release for Students at 12:15pm

Lunch Schedules

PreK: 11:05-11:35

Kinder: 11:00-11:30

1st: 11:15-11:45

2nd: 11:30-12:00

3rd: 12:15-12:45

4th: 12:00-12:30

5th: 11:50-12:20


Parents are welcome to check in at the office and then meet their child in the cafeteria. We ask that you enjoy lunch with your student at one of our guest tables. For the safety of all students, parents and guardians will only be able to provide for and eat lunch with their student/s.

Please remember to bring a valid photo ID when picking your student up early or when coming to campus to visit or volunteer.

By completing the BCISD volunteer application, you can contribute to BES in many ways including PTO, field trips, and helping around the school.

Car Rider Line

Please be sure to enter the car rider line at the driveway that passes by the side of the gym. The car tag sensor is located there. By driving by the sensor, we are able to stage your children in the correct order to allow all families to experience a quick and efficient dismissal.
