We will be having our next PTO Meeting this week on Wednesday, October 12th at 6:30PM in the Studley library. We will be starting our Spotlight Series - our first 5 students have been nominated to spotlight.

Please note that fundraiser online ordering is only valid through pickup during your fundraiser’s scheduled date, time, and assigned restaurant. Ordering delivery for fundraisers is not permitted at this time. Feel free to share the attached online ordering PDF with your supporters.

You may have noticed that your child came home with a Feinstein Golden Ticket. Each year, the Feinstein Foundation holds the Golden Ticket Contest where the winner receives a $5,000 donation to the school as well as a $500 donation to a charity of the winner's choice.

Please keep the ticket in a safe space, so we can easily idently the winner if chosen from Studley. We do have a tracking system at school, but it makes it easier if you keep yours in a safe space as well.

Last year, we had our first winner, and it was VERY exciting! Let's hope this year brings us another winner....

At this point, we are hopeful that most people have downloaded the APS app, set up their ROOMS account and started communicating.

We realize there are some technical difficulties along the way, but we are trying to work through them one by one. Please reach out if you are having trouble, and we can work together to figure it out.

What do you need to do?

1. Download the APS app.

2. Set up your Rooms account. You can do this in one of two ways:

• Follow the directions in the email that was sent to your email on 9.28. It was sent from accounts@edurooms.com
• Use the “magic code” provided by your child’s teacher. Reach out to your child’s teacher if you need the code.

Due to some technical difficulties, we are extending this until this FRIDAY! All families who have set up their Rooms account by Friday, October 14th will be entered into a raffle to win Studley School Spirit Wear (choice of sweatshirt or t-shirt).

Families with students in grades 3 and 4 - please note the dates below. We ask that all efforts are made to have students present during testing days. Please do your best to avoid these dates when scheduling appointments and vacations.

Grade 4 - May 8, 9

Grade 3 - May 10, 11

Communication will continue to be shared weekly through our newsletter. They will be shared on the Studley website as well as the app. Be sure to set the app to allow notifications.

Be sure to check out the following throughout the week:

• Meet the Staff Monday - Each Monday we will share out some biographies of our staff. This is an opportunity to learn about who we are!
• What's Happening Wednesday - Each Wednesday a team will share some of the highlights of what they are working on in school. This will allow us to share more about the great learning experiences that are happening at Studley.

Both of these will be shared on the Studley website or the APP!

It is that time of year again when we are looking to form our School Council. This group is made up of SES staff, parents/guardians, and community members. We meet monthly right before the PTO meeting. The purpose of this group is to work together on ways to improve our school.

Based on interest, we may need to hold elections.

We are in full swing of planning our Fall Festival, which will be held on Saturday, October 22nd.

At this event, we will be looking for families to "host" a trunk at our trunk-or-treat. Start thinking now what your theme could be. I have included some pictures of last year's trunks to give you an idea.

PTO will be reaching out with information about candy donations. Starting this week, be on the lookout for our new monster friend who is HUNGRY for candy. Last year, we had SO much donated, and the kids LOVED it! Candy will be used on the night of the Fall Festival.
