Weekly Parent Update
March 21-25
Greetings Ory Parents!
Thank you for taking the time to send a "Shout Out" to your scholars' teachers last week. We received 50 responses. If you didn't have a chance to send a special "shout out," don't fret. You will have another opportunity to do so for teacher appreciation week.
Your immediate assistance with the dress code policy is much appreciated. On Friday, Mr. Lambert monitored our scholars for dress code. Only 7 out of 123 or 5% of our middle school scholars are without uniforms. This week we will monitor our K-5th grade scholars. Our goal is to have 100% of our scholars in uniform.
We are 20 school days from the opening of the LEAP TESTING WINDOW! Please be sure your scholar attends school each day on time.
Ms. Jones

RELAXED DRESS CODE
The relaxed dress code was put in place for scholars who do not have uniforms as a result of Hurricane Ida. If your scholar has a uniform and has been coming to school in a uniform, he/she is required to continue to wear their uniform. Our administrative team will reach out to parents of scholars and compile a list of those scholars without a uniform. A memo of dress wear expectations will be sent home for those who do not have uniforms. We are seeing a decline in adhering to the uniform policy under the relaxed code. Please support our efforts in teaching our scholars to Dress for Success!
