Apr. 11 - M-Step Testing for 11th grade. ALL students attend

Apr. 12 - PSAT 9, PSAT 10, SAT testing for 9th-11th graders. 12th graders complete online assignments.

Apr. 13 - ACT Workkeys testing for 11th graders. ALL students attend.

We will be celebrating LHS student academic achievement for the first semester. 480 students met the requirements to be recognized as either Honor Roll, or Honor Roll with Distinction.

• 357 students achieved Honor Roll recognition by earning a g.p.a. of 3.0, with no grade lower than a C-
• 123 students achieved Honor Roll with Distinction recognition earning a 3.8 g.p.a., with no grade lower than an A-.

Congratualations to all students for their perservance, dedication, and effort throughout the 1st semester!

I hope you had the opportunity to attend the 1st Leadership Summit last evening. If you weren't able to make it, hopefully you will be able to attend the March and/or May dates.

I would like to take a minute to update you on some changes that will take place to the daily schedule at Linden High School the week of April 10, 2023. We feel these changes are necessary to put students in the most successful environment during the state mandated testing window.

The week of April 10th has been designated as the testing window for the state mandated SAT/MME tests, given to 11th grade students. Our 9th and 10th graders will also be taking the PSAT 9 and PSAT 10.

Monday, April 10th will be a regular school day for all students.

Tuesday, April 11th, we will be administering the M-Step assessment in Science and Social Studies to all of our 11th grade students. ALL Linden High School students will be in attendance at school on this date.

Wednesday, April 12th, we will be administering the SAT with Essay to all of our 11th grade students, the PSAT 10 to all of our 10th grade students, and the PSAT 9 to all of our 9th grade students. Transportation will run at their normal pick up and drop off times. All 12th grade students will not be in attendance. They will be responsible for attending a college visit, or participating in a job shadow experience, which will be identified in the student’s Educational Development Plan.

Thursday, April 13th, we will be administering the ACT WorkKeys job skills assessment in workplace documents, applied math, and graphic literacy to all of our 11th grade students. ALL Linden High School students will be in attendance at school on this date.

Friday, April 14th, will be a regular school day for all students or staff.

LHS Spring parent-teacher conferences will be conducted on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm. All parents and students will have the ability to conference with teachers at LHS during the designated times.

• 4/19/2023 (¾ through the semester 12th) 75%
• 5/2/2023 (¾ through the semester 9th-11th) 75%
• 5/17/2023 SENIORS must be 100% Completed
• 6/3/2023 (End of 2nd Semester 9th-11th) 100%

LVS and students with online classes must complete the Two-Way Communications with teachers as required.

Official practices for the 2022 Spring sports season begins Monday, March 13, 2023.
