Ecology
The Ecology class wrapped up their Herpetology section with a dissection of a Rattlesnake. JT dissected the snake and discovered the snake’s modified organ systems.
Applied Communications
The Applied Communication class did their quote impromptu speeches on topics such as, "United we stand, divided we fall." and "Being a true friend takes a lifetime." Maggie and Ethan are giving their speeches while Tony and Isaiah are having their two-minute prep time.
To Kill a Mockingbird
The English II Class presented their Living Character poster to the class. They each were given a character from the novel To Kill a Mockingbird and made a physical representation of the character and gave a description of the character's actions, a major strength and weakness and a quote that reveals something about their character.
Junior High English
7th & 8th grade English just finished up a unit on Poetry. They practiced a variety of poetic forms.
Personal Responsibility Lesson
Students in 10th grade Health wrapped up a lesson on personal responsibility. They created posters to hang around the school exhibiting the examples they covered in class.
High School Band
Students in Band are busy working on pieces for the regional music contest.
Chemistry
The Chemistry class conducted a lab learning about evidence of chemical changes. They used Copper (II) Nitrate, Hydrochloric acid, and Sodium Hydroxide to observe any chemical changes that occurred when mixed together.
