This is the time of year that we have our current and incoming students select their elective classes

for the coming school year. If you go to this link you will find all the information you need to assist

This will allow us to accurately identify student interest in classes so that we can make decisions

about our master schedule.

6th Grade Visits on Wednesday, March 27th, from 10-11am

6th Grade Family Night on Wednesday, March 27th, 6:00-7:00pm

All students in 7th grade will take the following classes.

There is NO need to register for these classes we pre-register students for ALL required classes.

• English
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies
• Health & Physical Education

AND

• Advisory- students will be assigned a teacher for advisory that will be with them for both of their years with us at Ryan.

• Extended Learning Program (ELP)

OR

Students can choose TWO (2) Semester Long Elective Classes

• Art
• Computer Essentials & Applications
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math)
• Family & Consumer Science

Advisory is a safe environment supporting reflection and self-awareness. Advisory bridges academic experiences with real life while fostering genuine relationships among students and adults. The goal is to develop productive citizens who make positive choices and are prepared to navigate life.
