Black History Month
Our NAACP Parent Council representatives, Dr. and Mrs. Griffith, sponsored an assembly to celebrate Black History Month at our school. The event featured the program "The History of African American Music," which took students on a musical journey through the history of the United States. Students were encouraged to actively participate by dancing, clapping, singing along, and becoming part of the ensemble. The ensemble included Kelton Norris, Herman Burney, and Justin Taylor. The students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We extend our gratitude to Dr. and Mrs. Griffith for their support in making this event possible.
