As we are days away from concluding the 2022-23 school year, it is the perfect time to reflect on the things we have learned this year. It is a time to consider the many memories that we have made and the successes we've shared. It is a time to have pride in our ability to overcome challenges. Finally, it is time to start planning for the next school year!

Many families may not be aware of the attention to detail that is involved in getting a school district prepared for students and the upcoming year. Each department in Midview Local Schools has a list of tasks, each one dedicated to providing the best learning environment for our students.

While administration and staff are eager to begin our summer work to plan for yet another successful year, it is important that our families, too, do their due diligence in preparing (so you can enjoy a carefree summer!). A few things to consider:

  • Preschool/Kindergarten Registration: All of your registration needs for the youngest learners in our district can be found here. We only have a few remaining openings for Preschool Peer Models!
  • School Fees: Fees may be paid online or by contacting your building's main office. Partial payments are also accepted!
  • FinalForms: FinalForms allows parents/guardians to complete and sign Emergency Medical forms, demographic forms, athletic forms, and more for students. All forms are required to be updated once per year and after any change.
  • Summer School & Extended School Year: If you believe your child would benefit from additional enrichment during the summer, please read more below! This program is free of charge and is a great opportunity for students as they prepare to transition to the next grade level.

As always, thank you for your continued support. And, last but certainly not least, Midview Local Schools would like to wish all of our Middie moms and mother figures a Happy Mother's Day. We hope your day has been filled with all of the best things.

Take care,

Dr. Willingham

We are so proud of their accomplishments and the way they represented Midview Local Schools!

Summer School & Extended School Year

The district understands the impact the past several years have had on our students, and we want to ensure all students (K-12) are ready for the 2023-2024 school year. Therefore, we have developed a Summer School and Extended School Year program that will assist in bridging the gap between school years.

The goal is to provide EXTRA PRACTICE for students in English Language Arts and math through engaging, interactive activities. The program will utilize in-person instruction and take place on the Midview Local School campus from Monday, June 12 to Thursday, June 29. To read more and register, click here.
