We had our Pillars of Pride assembly this morning, and the Pride was evident! We recognized students K-12 who epitomize the characteristics of Flexibility, Empathy, Tolerance, and Generosity. Thank you to all the families and community members who came out to support and encourage these students!

I also have to recognize the people who help pull off this event so our students can enjoy the spotlight. Ms. Hopkins coordinates the event and takes care of the details that make it such a special occasion for our students with the assistance of Mrs. Fields who helped with certificates; Mrs. Maneval also pitches in--she is not only a great emcee, but she made sure we had an amazing meal for our families afterward which Mr. Isom picked up and brought to us; our custodial/maintenance staff did the prep work and had our gym looking great and set up for our guests; and we appreciate our teachers on our Building Leadership Team who help present awards--Mrs. Bryan, Mrs. Stockwell, and Mr. Morris. It takes a team to pull off an event like this, and we have a great one!

As part of the requirements of Federal Programs, we are required to ensure that every year parents and community members receive information about our Title I program. The Miller County R-III School District has the following openings available:

• Custodian, 2:00-10:00 p.m., full-time with benefits and retirement, $12/hour starting, credit given for years of experience in similar positions
• Para-professional, full-time with benefits and retirement, $13/hour starting with 60 hours and a sub certificate/$12/hour starting without 60 hours and sub certificate, credit given for years of experience in similar positions
• Substitute Bus Drivers, as needed, $31.60 per route (a.m. or p.m.)
