Q: What is the Edtech Share Fair?

Q: Why call it a "Share Fair" and not a "Showcase" or something else?
Q: Where and when will the Edtech Share Fair be held?
Directions from Louisville: take Shelbyville Road/US-60 all the way into downtown Shelbyville. Take a right on 7th Street (there is a stoplight). Go through the stop sign, over the railroad tracks, and to the end of the road; Ginkgo Drive will be on your right and the Southside campus will be visible.

4:30 to 4:40: Station #1
4:40 to 4:45: Reflect and Rotate!
4:45 to 4:55: Station #2
4:55 to 5:00: Reflect and Rotate!
5:00 to 5:10: Station #3
5:10 to 5:15: Reflect and Rotate!
5:15 to 5:25: Station #4
5:25 to 5:30: Reflect and Rotate!

Google Keep is a new, free Drive app that allows students and teachers to organize, make, and share notes in a variety of ways. Dan will explain how Keep is impacting learning and changing his classroom.
Penny Bland (Heritage Elementary): Bee Bots

Bee Bots are robots easy enough for young students to program, yet provide a rich opportunity to practice coding. As a librarian, Ms. Bland will discuss how she uses them for multiple grade levels.
Karen Falkenstine (Simpsonville Elementary): Google Docs and Drive

Discover how Karen uses Google Docs and Drive to help schedule and organize the use of her library. See how it could apply to other reservations as well, such as TAG, Guidance, extracurricular activities, conferring schedules and parent/teacher conferences!

In a first for our Edtech Share Fair, Shelby STUDENTS will present! These middle school scholars will discuss their use of Prodigy Math and how it helps their learning.
James Wampler (EMS): Qball Throwable Microphone

As an eighth grade science teacher, James will discuss his use of Qball to encourage classroom discourse, as well as share his journey of how he is trying to make his own "throwable microphone."
Melinda Turner (SCHS): Edpuzzle

Tired of students passively watching videos? Create an engaging, interactive learning with Edpuzzle, where videos can easily become formative assessments or an opportunity to flip your classroom. Melinda will discuss how Edpuzzle is a part of her high school science lessons.
Bobbi Caranna (SCHS): Weebly

Bobbi, a high school English teacher, uses Weebly as a way for students to blog and reflect on their own personalized learning journey.
