RTI

Mrs. Craig's RTI group worked on communication, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Welding

Jeremiah Humphrey with the United Welding Institute came to talk with the Agri students about opportunities in welding after high school.

Gummy Bear Project

Mrs. Childer's AP Statistics students designed an experiment to see which angle would make gummy bears go the farthest. They designed catapults to launch the gummy bears. Next the students will use the information to write a report with statistical analysis to answer the question.

CA will meet next Tuesday, October 31 in Coach Kings room. Room 2604. The $5 Membership dues will be due at this time. We will also discuss ideas for service projects for the upcoming holidays. If you have any questions just give Coach King a holler.

Jrs and Srs, If you are interested in taking the ASVAB (pronounced as-vab) November 2, sign up in the Guidance Office THIS WEEK by Friday. Remember, the ASVAB is not just for students interested in the military, it is also a great career assessment tool that will identify careers you might be good at based on your scores, ANYONE can take it!

The Penguin Project is back! Come audition November 14 @ 4pm for HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the South Arkansas Arts Center for their spring Special Needs Theatre production. Special Needs actors and Peer Mentors are needed for all roles. Mentors can earn service hours for their involvement. Fill out an audition form at SAAC today!
